Accept the Social Media Challenge
In D&C 58:64, we read: “For, verily, the sound must go forth from this place into all the world, and unto the uttermost parts of the earth—the gospel must be preached unto every [person]”. In all human history, this task hasn’t been so achievable than these new times. The pandemic condition that forced us to stay at home, using the digital tools for our social contacts, also showed us the immense potential of using it to share our beliefs.
In September, we are starting a campaign to encourage all members to be aware of the fantastic digital material the Church has available for us and It is fully accessible on the internet and social media.
Get Connected! Join us in this endeavor. The following links will take you to various church websites that make it easy to share gospel messages. Using your social media to share it with your friends, we will be accomplishing the Lord’s commandments. Elder L. Tom Perry of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles has taught, “Today’s ‘manner of conversation’ seems to involve the Internet more and more. We encourage people, young and old, to use the Internet and social media to reach out and share their religious beliefs.”
